Visa Requirements for International Students

Diplomatic and Official Passports
Indian citizens with Diplomatic or official passport do not need a visa for entering Denmark, but may need a visa for other Schengen countries.

Validity of Passport
The applicant shall present a valid travel document (passport) the validity of which extends at least three (3) months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States (or, in the case of several visits, after the last intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States). It shall contain at least two blank pages and shall have been issued within the previous 10 years.

Processing time during peak travel periods

In peak travel periods, applications submitted at short notice will not be prioritised ahead of applications that have been submitted in time
Our peak season is from March through September. During this period we recommend that applications are submitted to VFS minimum 4 weeks in advance to ensure the application is processed in time.
Transportation time to and from the Embassy is NOT included in the visa processing time.
